From The Hearts Time To Bloom

Hi. Today is my birthday today and I'd still like to post today. Last night I create a card using a From The Heart digital stamp set called Time To Bloom. You can find this stamp set to buy here. It's a lovely set with so much detail in the images and lots of wording to go with it. I believe that with this set you can create a lots of different types of cards/projects.

For this card I've coloured with nothing but pencils. It took me a while as I printed the image quite big this is mounted on a 6" by 6" card. However very therapeutic to just take my time on a very detailed image. I've created a half frame using a Spellbinders Majestic Squares set. The flowers in the background are Peachy Keens stamps. Then I've used two different embossing folders to complete the background.

I've currently not added a sentiment to this card but I think there are lots of different opportunities where this image would be perfect. Thank you, get well soon, just because, birthdays, anniversaries, coloured in blues or reds I think it would make a good Christmas card too. The possibility are endless. So I'm sure I will add a sentiment at a later date when I find this card the perfect home.

I've created this card using a sketch layout for a From The Heart I {Heart} Sketch with a twist Challenge. The twist is add washi tape. I'd like to enter this card into that challenge. You can join in yourself here. I have such fun creating cards for this challenge.

I'd like to enter this card into the From The Heart April's Monthy Progressive Challenge. This time it's dedicated to this lovely image. Click here to find out more about this Progressive Challenge and join in with the fun. I'll look forward to join in again next month.

I'd also like to enter this card into the Create and Inspire Challenge Blog called Anything Goes. To join in with this challenge click here.

Flowery Freya Fairy

Hello. It's a beautiful sunny day here today. I'm loving the weather. It has inspired me to create this very very colourful, flowery card. Her name is Freya Fairy you can find her on her online Esty shop here. Also click here to join in with this Facebook group exclusive to those to join the group.
I have coloured this beautiful Fairy with my Spectrum Noir Markers and I've shaded using pencils. The sentiment is from Tatty Twinkle Beautiful Surprises CD rom. The background trellis a while ago it is a free cutting file I got from Birds Cards website here. I cut it out using my brother scan and cut. The swirl has been created with wire wrapped in masking tape and coloured. I made the flowers myself. I cut the shape, inked them up and shaped them. I hope that you like my creation.

Racing By Doggy

Hello. Last night I made this interactive boys card that I'd like to share with you. The image is called Dog on a scooter - Vrooming by... This is a Gerda Steiner Designs digital stamp. Click here to find all of her current digital stamps in her online shop. If you like the look of this guy it's well worth a look there are some right cuties and some freebie digital stamps are currently available.

I've coloured the image using Spectrum Noir Markers and shaded using pencils. I created all the background elements the Sun, trees and hedge by drawing, watercolouring, cutting and sticking. I used a Provo Craft embossing folder to add texture to the road in the background. So the reason I said it was a interactive card is because the scooter spins. I used a brad/split pin to loosely attach the scooter to the hedge. I added three layers of foam pads. Two behind the hedge and one behind the scooter. This way you can get a nice easy movement in the spinning motion. I wrote the sentiment to make sure I could fit it on. I'm super happy about how this card worked out. I think any little boy would love it... Maybe I'll save for one of my Nephew's birthday's.

I'd like to enter this card into the Gerda Steiner Designs Share Your Designs #19 Challenge which can be found here.
This card I think fits the Inky Impressions Challenge blog theme beautifully. It's called All about the boys. If you'd like to join in with this challenge too click here.
I'd also like to enter this card into the Creative Knockouts Challenge Blog. I'm hoping that this card fits within the theme. I think as the scooter spins that it's a fun card that would entertain children. So this is why I think it fits in with this Humorous Card theme. You can join in with the fun here.
Here is a picture of the card.
Another picture from a angle.
video
Here I have made a quick video. This is my very first video clip. Just to show you how the scooter moves. I hope that you like my creation.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog today.

VW Snowman Christmas Card

Hi everyone. I hope your having a nice weekend. I decided to create another Christmas card. I'm determined to make Christmas as easy as possible as last year I left them way to late. So this will be my third Christmas card of the year (so far.) I'm completely loving using From The Heart Digital Stamps. This time I've used VW Snowman. This digital stamp set includes four VW Snowman images and a number of sentiments. It is also currently available at a discount price as it's in there 100 Snowman Project. Click here for a direct link to get your own.

I've used a sketch layout for this card. I have however turned the whole layout. To colour the image I've used Spectrum Noir Markers and shaded using pencils. I hand cut the trees and embossed them. Then I've used scrap papers in the background. The sentiment (which I love) came with the VW Snowman set.

I'd like to enter this card into the I {heart} Sketches with a tWist #147 the twist is use lots of patterned paper. I love this challenge. It's so much fun to see how everyone interpretes the sketch layout. Click here to join in. There is still just about enough time to have a go.

Number One

Hello. I've made this number one card. Not sure who I'm going to give the card too. Maybe my sister for completing her college course and will soon be at a University. Or maybe my little girl for when she completes her first year in school.
I've kept this card very minimal as I didn't want to distant to much from the main image. This is a Art by MiRan digital stamp called Sweet Sally. She has a online Etsy shop which I've linked here. I've coloured her with pencils. Apart from the skin the Base colour is a Spectrum Noir Marker from the pastel collection. To add a final touch I've used mini pom poms as her hair bobbles. I made a rule for the background using a Rangers Stencil. The Rosette has been handmade by me. I've tried to stick with a pink and blue colour theme.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenge are
Art by MiRan Facebook group March Progressive Challenge which can be found here. This challenge requires me to use this image.
Also The Pencil Case Challenge blog which can be found here. This time it's called P for Pretty Peculiar.
The final challenge I'd like to enter this card into is The Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog number 134 called Anything Goes. This blog can be found here.
