SBS Queen Bee For The Day

Hi. I'm back today with a Mother's Day card I've made using a Simply B Stamp called Queen Bee. I decided to make a Pop Up Box Card with her.

I've coloured her and the flowers with Rembrandt Aquarell Pencils except from the base of her skin that is a Touch Five Marker. I've used colour coordinated paper and embossed the top. I've used Xcut Swirl die cuts and Flower die cuts which I've layered up and added a gem in the centre of. I made the bow from ribbon. Then I computer generated the words to go with the theme and image I've used.

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges

CAAB March Inspiration Card

Hi everyone!! I'm stopping by to share my Cute As A Button's inspiration post for this month. I've created this using a Cute As A Button image called Rose Garden. This is one of the gorgeous new images that can be found at the Cute As A Button Store.

I've made a Z fold card with her. She has been coloured with Touch Five Markers, Spectrum Noir Markers and Pencils. I coloured all the added elements including the background with Distress Inks. I die cut the swirls, butterflies, leaves and heart boarder die cut. Then I used my Brother Scan n Cut to cut out two SVG files of roll up roses. I made a tag hidden within the card. I hope you like my card.

We'd love it if you could stop by and see the current challenges going on at the Cute As A Button Challenge Blog and a Progressive Challenge on the Cute As A Button Facebook Group.

ABB March FB Freebie Colouring Challenge

Hi. I'm here to share my Art By Barb Design's March Colour Along With A Child Facebook Challenge inspiration card... Or should I say cards as my daughter has coloured along with me. If you've not played along before you can receive this image called Oops Sorry Ma for FREE on the condition that you join in with us over at Art By Barb's Facebook Group. Colouring with a child is NOT essential but we'd love it if you could. Please pop over to the group to find all details. As well as getting this image free upon colouring and posting it in the correct album within the group you will be in with s chance to win some of Art By Barb Designs beautiful images.

There are so many benefits to colouring whether your a child or a adult. In my experience it's a fun way to bond, share an experience and create lovely memories. Not only does it help them physically with hand eye coordination but mentally as well as it will help them be and think creatively in there own way and make them feel good and proud of what they have created.

I've coloured the image using pencils and I've embellished using flowers. The sentiment is a digital stamp created by Tracy Wray from Crafty Cats 957 Designs Digital Stamps. The frame around the image has been made with a stamp.

My daughters card has been coloured with felt tips pens. She created the card for her Auntie. She added all elements around the image and in the background. She has even drawn her very own picture inside of her and her Auntie. She did colour some flowers I cut out for her but she decided not to add them. She was very happy with her work and her Auntie loved it.

I hope that you can join in with the fun. Here is where you can find more Art By Barb images.

There is also a Cupcake freebie over at Art By Barb Facebook Group. As well as information on how to subscribe to get regular information, details about new images, challenging and any new freebies.
